Based in Arnhem HyET Solar has developed a groundbreaking technology for the production of solar panels. Our cost-efficient production method of lightweight flexible PV film on rolls, enables many new applications and leads to greatly reduced installation costs. Examples of applications are integration into roof and façade panels, covering vaulted roofs and movable panels on canvas.
HyET Solar has a new roll-to-roll production line in Arnhem and we are building a scaled-up factory for large-scale production. Because of this we are expanding our production team and are looking for new colleagues.
job description
As a Process Engineer at HyET you are responsible for the production process around making solar cell film. You are involved in designing, testing, and setting up new production processes.
In addition, you are responsible for maintaining and improving existing processes. You are not only responsible for the technology, but also for aspects such as costs, quality and logistics. You are part of the production team and form the link between the supply of material, the proper functioning of machines and the coordination of technical maintenance and outsourcing.
In our fast-growing company, you help scale up production capacity. New machines, production locations and processes are introduced that need to be efficiently controlled.
What are you going to do?
- Testing feasibility of new processes and process improvements;
- Drawing up process specifications (working method, settings, quality controls);
- Assisting the R&D with designing, realizing and releasing new machines for pilot production and volume production;
- Maintain existing machines and processes (process improvements, quality assurance, maintenance programs);
- Technical management of subcontracting and outsourcing;
- Help building a large-scale production plant.
your profile
For the position Process Engineer at HyET we are looking for someone who is proactive and accurate. You are driven to devise and set up new processes. Besides that you:
- Completed relevant technical education (MBO4/HBO). Background in semiconductors or electrical/electronic is a plus;
- Oral/written proficiency in Dutch and English;
- Relevant work experience (3-5 years) in a production environment (instrumentation, web handling, pumps, vacuum, materials). Experience in roll to roll production would be an advantage.
- Skills in, PID’s, SCADA, MES or PLM are an advantage;
- Affinity with process technology and production of solar cells is an adavantage;
- Corporate attitude within the production team (working together);
